This happened on the day of Thanksgiving break, but it has happened before.
A carload of teenagers were TEARING though a neighborhod with little kids walking home from school. Everyone got out of school about the same time. The driver turned to talk to someone in the back seat and swerved towards the kids. ( Luckily, no one was hurt, but dang was it close.) I laid on my horn trying to get someone's attention and the people in the car "flicked" me off and drove away laughing. If I could have safely caught up, I would have taken their license plate number and called it in.
