How does this work with things purchased together?

I'm kind of ignorant on this topic. My parents split, did not have a pre-nup but my Dad seemed to have gotten the better bargain after the divorce. Mom made significantly less than he did and all he was required was to pay child support.

In cases like this, I would not know if a pre-nup would have been a good or bad thing.

Wow, not really sure but I know that you determine the terms like I think Holly Barry had one that stated if you cheat then you get nothing. Or you could state things purchased together whoever gets or wants the item must buy the other person out. It all depends on how its written from my understanding but don't quote me I am not a lawyer. I hope that information helped.
