I get tired of people taking credit for others' accomplishments. I was watching the Heat/Bulls game the other day & the announcer gave credit to Jason Williams (white point guard for Miami) for being the "creator" or "master" of the cross-over dribble! They proceeded to say how much influence he has had on today's youth & future point guards & showed a clip of him crossing up someone when he was w/ Sacramento & compared that clip to Dwyane Wade crossing someone that game. I know in the big scheme of things, this comment has no real importance, but I was kinda shocked to hear it. It completely ignores the contributions of cross-over legends such as Tim Hardaway or more recently Allen Iverson. It just made me think about the Elvis comments, Rocky Marciano comments & others! Your thoughts?
