In reference to one of our neos, who is *still* in a pink and green haze (KIM her line crossed November 20th):
Random girl---"So, do you
HAVE to wear pink and green in order to be an AKA?" She was serious as all get out, too.
I almost answered "Yep
" but I knew that would be equally foolish. I just winked and told her "it takes more than colors to be a woman of Alpha Kappa Alpha".
Also--due to our constantly getting bags and other goodies from regionals, clusters and Boule, we are always sporting a new bag, keychain, sweatshirt, etc. So my chapter is constantly bombarded with "Damn. Does
everything come in pink and green and with the letters A, K and A?"
Jokey answer: "Yep."
Serious answer:"Yep"
