(I'm a self confessed TV addict)
As for Toni and Joan's "beef"...
Toni has been the spoiled, self-absorbed friend (don't we all have one?) for their entire relationship, and Joan has been the friend who accepts and deals with it. Toni has left Joan in a lurch, igged her over a man and her career, the works...but now we're supposed to feel sorry cuz Joan won't be her whipping post anymore? I think not. Toni has always been the AXIS, expecting everyone to revolve around her, and the girls have always accepted her extreme self-obsession. Now that Joan actually has things (however stupid) of her own going on, Toni can't accept it. Maya and that idiot Lynn are enabling Toni, trying to convince Joan that she needs to "be a friend", jump back into the rotation, and start idolizing Toni again...
Joan has NEVER had a life, so now she doesn't know how to handle it. She has NO IDEA how to deal with any man, much less a man like Javon. She has NO CLUE how to deal with a man with game, or more than one man at once. That's why she's PLAYING HERSELF. She'll end up with NO man, trust.
Bottom line: Toni simply CANNOT HANDLE being outside of the spotlight. Joan has always revolved around Toni. Toni was married with a husband, child, and fabulous career...now she's a broke, single mom in the middle of a messy divorce - NOT her plan. Toni was "Oprah"...Joan was "Gayle", and now the tables have turned and Toni can't handle the switch.
"I lost my phone with your numbers"...if that ain't the OLDEST one in the book, LOL. It's TOO MANY WAYS to find someone's number nowadays...I mean, at LEAST come up with a good lie, dang dude! Joan has NO PLAYER SKILLS WHATSOVER. That's why I am giggling over her AND Toni playing themselves.
Joan will crash and burn, ending up manless and right back in Toni's orbit.

I agree with everything you said. Toni has to now live in the real world like the rest of us. Raise her child on her own, think about someone other than herself, and finally to realize that she is not the center of the universe. Joan doesn't need her anymore and that I think is more than she can swallow.
I'm glad that Joan has finally gotten a life. She has never had the opportunity to be the one that everybody wants to be with. Sadly, I can already see where this is heading for her
