You're always going to run into shady people. And 9 times out of 10, these people tend to get their rocks by belittling others. While I totally understand your frustration, best advice, ignore her. If she's not directly involved with your chapter than who cares. She's not worth the time and energy to be upset over her. Easier said than done.
People are people whether they are sisters or not. And not everyone gets along. I have sisters that I do not get along with at all, and frankly thats fine with me. I just don't associate with them or let them get to me at all.
