If your metabolism is faster than normal, even if it is just faster than the other two boys, he's going to need more food. Also, I don't like the fact that this show seems to be encouraging the general public to pass judgement on others. Not all overweight people eat like that. There are many genetic disorders and diseases that can cause childhood obesity that can't necessarily be handled with diets.

Yeah there are many genetic disorders and diseases that can cause childhood obesity but I think that this show is directed toward unhealthy people (obese or not) -- the first episode there was that family of 5 and one of the kids was skinny as rail but jumping to age 40 he looked soooo much better if he ate healthy compared to unhealthy. It is just scary to think how many people eat the same amount of junk food that these families use to eat. It is disgusting and it is something that families need to take seriously because it can have damaging long term effects...
I am enjoying the show and have got a some of friends hooked as well -- looking forward to next week...
