I've found that my letters make me an American magnet when I'm abroad! It's great because I get to talk to all these wee uns about sorority life and explain to them that it's not like the TV has you believe. I actually got talking to an American from Boston last night in the laundry because I was folding my letter shirts.

And to the non-Americans who ask about what the T and Triangle mean...it means that I get to go on about how awesome Greek life is and how proud I am of my sorority. (and I taught 2 swiss and a Canadian how to sing the Greek alphabet in a hostel in Italy!).

So in general...wearing my letters is a DAILY thing for me, I always have my lavalier on and not tucked into my shirt. I like the questions, even if they are pretty funny some times.

And since Otterbein has pretty relaxed recruitment (not unusual to pledge women of all levels, even seniors!), wearing letters is an important thing to do. It's always pretty cool when people come up to you and say, "So why do I always see these funny shirts around? what's the craic with that?" (ok, maybe not craic, but still!)
