I agree, the artist being Asian has nothing to do with it. People, both Asians and non-Asians, can still take offense to it. That's their right. The part that makes me understand it a little more is the fact that he was drawing himself. Unfortunately, that fit a stereotype that is offensive to many people. Adidas should have researched this more.
