WOW!!! I had no idea how many people felt the stripper scholarship comment was ok. Yes, there are other scholarships out there but everyone does not know how to tap into those resources. I have known people that I went to college with that stripped to stay in school, not because they wanted to and liked the attention but felt that was "THEIR" best way of survival and no one elses.
Everyone has his or her own way of adapting to any given situation and that was her way of getting threw school and feeding her kids. Just because your grades are up to par or not, does not mean you will get the scholarship you applied to. I just think, it is not a horrible thing that Jesse Jackson's organization is affording this woman a scholarship.
