We're not allowed to wear our letters on campus (as in, not to class). At first I thought it was the dumbest rule, but now I am so appreciative of it. A lot of professor's are "anti-
Greek", so wearing your letters can, sometimes, give the professor a bad first impression of a girl. I think it's tacky to wear the sweatshirts with the huge letters plastered across your chest to class, it's great to be proud of your sorority, but school isn't the appropriate time to parade around in your letters like you are making some kind of superiority statement. While we aren't allowed to wear our letters to class (KAO), we are allowed to wear shirts that say Kappa Alpha Theta, and most of our philanthropy or function shirts don't have the letters, they have the spelled out words.
