Thankyou for exposing the lies of DeBeers. For the last few years they have been raiding the diamond resources of Sierra Leone in what has been called the Diamond Haulacaust There are atrocities that are going on right now in the country of Africa, in particular the little poor country of Sierra Leone. The Liberian government has given permission for rebels to plunder the town of Sierra Leone of its Diamond supply. Keep in mind that Sierra Leone does not have the largest supply of diamonds in world but they indeed have the best quality diamond supply.
Rebels have not only taken advantage of the people in the country, they have left them crippled by their cruel tactics. First they force the Sierra Leone to come and work for them. If they refuse, they will be killed, or part of their limbs will be amputated. This is by barbaric means of course. As many as 20,000 people in Sierra Leone have been amputated amd many have bled to death because of it. Keep in mind that most of the victims of this are little innocent children who are now forced to go the rest of their lives without limbs for DIAMONDS people, a mineral!!! The US has had a see no evil hear no evil policy on these poor people who cannot even afford aftercare for their limbs. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT EVERYONE TAKE A PROACTIVE ROLE IN HELPING THESE PEOPLE!!!!

I will never buy another diamond and I hope you will not either.
