Let's get this thread active...I like to learn about new greek organizations and check back to see how they grow - somewhat of a selfish interest, since my GLO is growing itself.
I think it's nice to remain educated about the changing/growing face of greekdom. As another greekchatter pointed out - smaller/younger organizations can be thought of as weak or unimportant (against larger, longer established GLOs)....but be sure to watch out when those "beneath" you start falling, it could be your end as well...
...I think the opposite can be true as well, we are enhanced and strengthend as greeks as groups of people band together according to the greek model. So here's some new and/or not as well known greeks to watch.
Who knows? They may be a lone chapter that remains a local or grow into a huge national. They may be small but around for the past 100 years, or small and just starting new. Whatever their future and past, it's worth taking a look at who they are now.
