Singer June Pointer of The Pointer Sisters has died. The Pointer Sisters’ legendary career included the hits Slow Hand, Jump (For My Love), Nuetron Dance and I’m So Excited. June was 52, and had battled drug addictions for years, and she has had run-ins with the law. She suffered a stroke a few weeks ago and died of complications from cancer.

Can Oprah help Naomi Campbell? The Supermodel made headlines last week after she was arrested for beating one of her assistants. Naomi has a history of attacking her help. Naomi faces up to seven years in jail for her latest outburst. When police arrived at her apartment, there was blood everywhere, and the assistant had to get four stitches in her head. Friends of Naomi say she is afraid of getting older. This is no excuse for her behavior. Naomi is a bully. Can Oprah help her? Naomi is scheduled to sit down with Oprah to discuss her bad behavior.

Judge Mablean speaks! After seven years, Judge Mablean Ephriam will no longer be on the hit court TV show Divorce Court. Judge Ephriam says it all came down to hair and money. Ephriam says she was denied a raise despite the high ratings and success of the show. She was also told to wear a wig to help cut down on expenses for her hair. Officials were tired of paying to have her hair styled. They also fired her daughter, who was in charge of the wardrobe department, from the show. In regards to her hair, Ephraim says she found the issue to be racially offensive. As an African American woman, she needs to have her hair styled by professionals who are skilled in black hair.

The year-long romance between Bow Wow and Ciara is over. Bow Wow was allegedly cheating with a stripper. Isn’t he too young for this? Bow Wow may come to regret this. Ciara is hot and everybody wants to date her, including NBA players , NFL players, entertainers, actors and rappers. Bow Wow may have played himself on this one because she won’t be brokenhearted for long. Soon it could be: Bow Who?

Former Football Great Jim Brown is in trouble again. The divorce proceedings against his wife Monique have taken a turn for the worse, and now Brown faces charges of child abuse. Brown’s ex-wife is claiming that he sexually molested their four-year old son. Brown is no stranger to controversy. He has been accused many times of assaulting women. One time, he allegedly threw a woman off a balcony.

Did Boxer Mike Tyson have an affair with a 16-year old? YES! The 16-year old English girl says she was Iron Mike’s lover for 8 months. She says her parents approved of the relationship, despite their 23-year age difference. The 16-year old says she broke it off with Tyson after she caught him cheating on her. Tyson has been living in England trying to establish a TV career.

Jennifer Lopez can’t seem to shake husband number one. J-Lo has had to a get a restraining order against her first husband. He’s broke and he needs money. He is threatening to spill the beans about their private life unless she gives him $5 million. J-Lo just wants him to go away and get a life. She is currently trying to start a family with hubby number three, Singer Marc Anthony.

American Idol Judge Paula Abdul says she was attacked by a man at a Hollywood party. Abdul says she suffered a concussion and back injuries when a man slammed her into wall at a party.

What’s the real deal with Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons? Despite their announced separation, they are still living in the same house (a mansion), and they are still making public appearances together. Last week, Russell hinted at a possible reunion, but he is still romancing a 23-year old model. Kimora, on the other hand, has been very quiet. Matter of fact, too quiet. In an interview last year with Vanity Fair, she threatened to beat a behind if another woman came near her man. Now, he’s openly dating another woman. What does Kimora have to say? Does she want a divorce? Is she too wrapped up in her business empire Baby Phat or her women friends to notice? Or, is this just all a publicity stunt to get people to watch their reality show on VH-1?

There will be no Prince on American Idol. The musical superstar would have been a great guest, but he had no time to talk to the contestants and he never watched the show. Producers tried to hammer out a deal, but in the end, they found Prince to be too difficult.

Actress Kimberly Elise (Woman Thou Art Loosed, Set If Off, Diary of A Mad Black Woman) has been added to the cast of PDR. She will co-star along with Terrence Howard, Bernie Mac and Evan Ross in the inner city sports drama.

Diddy is coming to TV. He starred on Broadway in the revival of Raisin in the Sun, and now he will be starring in the TV version for CBS along with Tony Award Winners Audra McDonald and Phylicia Rashad.
