hc we start talking about adoption
hc I mentioned that there were many AA babies that were in need of adopting?
hc my white co worker said "I know this is a generality, but I don't understand how that is, black women seem to live for their kids."
hc I said "well people give their children up for several reasons, like perhaps they can't afford them"
hc she says "well alot of them can't afford them but I wasn't aware that there were that many in need of adoption"
hc I did this:
and siad well there are several women out there irrespective of color that can't afford to take care of their kids for varying reasons.
hc it urks me to no end when ppl say stupid stuff like that -if you don't know or think it might be a stupid thing to say - SHUT UP!!!!
