When I first visited NYC, before most of you were born, it was a big, unfriendly, pretty scary place.
It has changed dramatically.
I have visited many times over the years and lived there most of last summer.
It's a great city, and the people are, for the most part, wonderful.
It is expensive...no way around that.
There is so much to do, and a lot of it is inexpensive or even free.
