I disagree with this. As a recruitment advisor at USC I have seen many women successfully go through recruitment as juniors, and we generally have a junior quota.
Last year the breakdown was
Freshmen: 417
Sophomores: 254
Juniors: 78
Seniors: 4
Historically our match statistics at USC are pretty good.
