Okay, I've officially become addicted to this thread.
Before I mention a whole cornucopia of (relatively) obscure movies I've seen, I've got to give "big ups" to my ultimate fav
not-so-obscure indie flick
GARDEN STATE!!! It plays on the various HBO channels all the time and I watch with excitement every time as if I'm seeing it for the first time. I have friends from NJ (have only been once myself), but you don't have to be from there to appreciate the humor (it *really* should've been nominated for an Original Screenplay Oscar
). I also love the songs in it (gotta get that soundtrack!).
