Alright, i'm not buyin it, none of you, except one, made a big deal about the ideal guy being in great shape. My guess is either a) ya don't want to seem shallow or b) ya aren't being straight up. Even if it is not a big deal, women (at least the one's I've spoken with) ALWAYS mention a healthy body as part of an ideal man. From personal experience in viewing myself both physcially and mentally, a healthy body equals a healthy mind, for both men and women. Women (again, the ones i know) are very in tune to the relationship between a man's fitness and his overall disposition. Nevermind the biological advantages a fit guy has over the beer gut dude, humans are BUILT to be drawn to visual appeal, its in the DNA baby!
