[hijack]Yeah, the Academy DEFINITELY owed Giamatti one. I fell in love with him in this movie and have been a fan ever since---'Sideways' was the bomb!.[/hijack]

I took a course in the history of film and fell in love with documentaries, in particular 'Hearts and Minds'. Do these count as obscure (?), 'cuz I got a couple: 'Capturing the Friedmans', and 'Roger & Me' (although Michael Moore gets on my nerves, this movie hit close to home, both literally and figuratively).

I also like war movies like 'Apocalypse Now' and 'Full Metal Jacket'...and they might be considered obscure...

Hell, I'm lying. I like all movies since I don't have cable/local television and rely on the local library as my sole source of entertainment.
