Alpha Omicron Pi is pleased to announce that the Fraternity has been invited to colonize a new chapter at the University of La Verne. The university, located in southern California, opened for extension this spring. AOII was selected to present with Phi Mu for the invitation in late February.
Founded in 1891, ULV promotes values of community service, lifelong learning and diversity. The university has an undergraduate student enrollment of over 1,400 and offers 88 bachelors and masters degrees, along with four doctorates within four major colleges and one school. Currently, there are two NPC organizations on campus—Phi Sigma Sigma and Sigma Kappa and one local group – Iota Delta. More information about ULV is available through their website at
www.ulv.edu.
Colonization of the chapter is slated for late October or early November 2006. More information regarding the colonization process is forthcoming.
