Unfortunately, the media strengthens the image of Greeks doing stupid things. I was driving in my car yesterday and heard a radio commercial. I couldn't tell you what it was even for, but it alluded to Greeks hazing or drinking or something inappropriate.
I am so tired of people bashing movies that they haven't seen, books they haven't read, organizations that they don't belong to..okay, okay, on second thought maybe there are some that should be bashed...but many people are cult-ish about what they don't like. If their neighbor, family member, minister, policitian, fill-in-the-blank, doesn't like something, they figure that they must not like it too without getting to know more about it.
Hey, I used to think that I would hate sour cream ((why should I like SOUR cream?))..now I love it.
