DUI Bracelet

So, I'm watching the Daily Buzz this morning, and I see something that caught my attention. DUI bracelets are being issued in certain areas for repeated DUI offenders. What the bracelets do is detect your blood alcohol content through traces of sweat. The bracelet is worn around the ankle just like a house arrest bracelet. Some areas even make people where a GPS watch, so they are able to know your where-a-bouts at all times.

This question came to mind by viewers. Does this violate any civil rights? The answer was yes and no. In general, it is considered violation of privacy. Then again, they said you sign away those rights when you're on probation. Another issue is that you won't even be able to get drunk at home, or the bracelet will go off and contact your probation officer.

What is everyone's view on this? Has anyone ever been pulled over for DUI? To go ahead and answer this question, I have not, but I do love my cocktails.
