My chapter hasn't ever initiated someone "famous", but this semester we had a member of the varsity basketball team pledge our chapter.
This hasn't happened very often at our school since it is quite anti-greek and the general consensus among the coaches is to discourage atheletes from joining fraternities and sororities as well.
