technically, theyre not suposed to accept it if it is not signed - thats what the NOT AUTHORIZED UNLESS SIGNED means on the back by the signature box - a few times i've used my dad's credit card, and they look at it and the signature - and the cashier is like ok, thanks! hello!!!!!
