I TIVO'd this show and finally got around to watching the first episode. I'm hooked!
I liked all of the girls, with the possibly exception of Chelsea (she of the motorcycle mama and the flat iron abuse). One of the posters on Television Without Pity noted that Chelsea will probably be dancing on a pole in a few years. Clever!
I thought Ryan was the cutest little thing. I thought Donna, the coach (and Ryan's mom) would be a real bitch but I found her surprisingly likable.
I really loved that there were no twiggy stick girls on the squad. They all looked normal and healthy and not like they'd shirk away in horror from a plate of food. "Oh no, I couldn't possibly eat; I had a stalk of celery just last night!"
