The only times when I see a member of an org go all out on 'nalia is after they just crossed (my observation and self confession
). I see it 'worse' on the girls than guys. I've seen girls with the letter t-shirt, letter tote bag with the letter umbrella poking out, letter ear rings / bracelet / necklace and letter key chain - all worn at the same time. Neos are fun.
Personally, as I've gotten older I have toned it down. I'll just wear a t-shirt and my car keys are on a SGR key chain. And, I have a couple of letter tote bags that I use - one for sorority meetings and one for work.
So, I guess to answer your question - I have no problem with 'nalia being too little or too much.
