Please keep my mom in your prayers tomorrow (Friday). She goes in for surgery on her "back" - really, they're removing two ruptured disks, building a trough to prevent the bones from pushing on her spinal cord nerves, and then putting in a mesh support system and a plate over it. The surgery is scheduled for 12:30 CA time, and they anticipate her being in the hospital until Sunday, although with my mom, I wouldn't be surprised if she was home Saturday morning.

I'm pretty certain everything will go fine - I just get nervous when ANYONE goes in for surgery, and *especially* when it's my mom.
