Every night on our 5:00 news, we have some sort of stupid American Idol segment where we talk about Chris, Kellie, Bucky (and Heather, before she got kicked off) since they are all from my viewing area. Sometimes we talk about Clay and especially Fantasia.

It is boring and is not news in any way, shape or form. I could live without ever seeing Bucky Central and his twin brother Rocky ever again. Yes, we get it. Chris used to work at Crown Honda here in Greensboro. Yep, thanks for sharing Kellie's grandfather's opinion for the 20th time.

HOW IS THIS NEWSWORTHY? Thank God I'm even WATCHING AI or else I would be really, really pissed that this drivel is on the news nightly.

In other news, I loved Ace's version of the Michael song, but I also loved when he did "Father Figure". I like it when he is creepy, I guess.

I am going to cry if/when Kevin goes home. He isn't the best in the competition by far but we love that owlish-faced tiny-mouthed little guy.

Chris is hot, Will is cheesy, Gideon has a lovely voice but looks like a freaking MUPPET (stop smiling!), Taylor needs to never dance again, I HATE BUCKY, and I actually had to go to the American Idol website to figure out who I am forgetting which shows you just how much I care about Elliott. Please remove your gross teeth from my TV screen, even though you are a talented singer.
