When I was stationed in Texas the Delta and Omega chapters in my area were extremely close so we used to have all kinds of events together. Fortunately for me my husband is just as much a social butterfly as I am so he loves being involved in anything I do. The Sorors and the Bruhs would always have cookouts and dinners together so I made sure I brought my husband with me so he could see exactly who I was hanging with and what goes on. Needless to say it didn't take long for him to feel extremely comfortable with my social settings and he always looks forward to our next Delta event! I've adopted the attitude that if I couldn't take my husband with me to a function I probably shouldn't be there either if you know what I'm saying. Although he does say he's gonna have to start charging Sorors rent because they are at our house more than him!
