When you join the art school the dean tells you that you cannot join greek life because you dont have the time for it, you are discoraged from joining student government and most other university activities. That's the same for the theater school at UCLA. One of my friends/pledge sisters had to rush as a sophomore because theater majors were not allowed to rush their freshman year.
