Delta Nu was overwhelmingly my most favored chapter whilst I
was on the road. Logan pledged me at Emporia, and he ever
recalled I was the one who went to sleep during his speech!
You, my good Delta Nu frater, really got a treat. Logan was known widely as a cheapskate, really, and we played many a
trick on him...He was heavily criticized when he allowed me to
water ski on Lake Quivira in a three-piece suit. This happened
between wives 1 & 2. I can tell many, many JCL stories. He was an unforgettable frater and Delta Nu an unforgettable TKE
chapter. I drank a lot of Logan's whiskey. He used to get so mad at me that he'd shake and it was very hard to get Logan at
lack of composure. He said I could disrupt a large meeting with
my mere presence. I presumed that was a compliment....
He communicated with me monthly until death, and TKE FINALLY gave him the Golden Eagle...before his death, but barely in time. A truly great Greek, a highly educated man, and
