I added manly to my statement because i didnt like the way it read the first time because it made it seem like i was saying that gay men arent men and i'm not saying that at all. HOWEVER i will say that manhood does extend further than your sexual preference but how many people truly look that far?? Its easy to be philosophical on a forum and play the role as if you look beyond the fact that someone is gay or not but at the end of the day you are just like the rest. If someone asked you who was more manly Barry Bonds or Clay aiken you would agree that Barry is the more manly. You make a valid point but i doubt even you go that far as to hold up to the statement.

Getting back to the skeletons... your right i dont follow them around 24/7 and there very well may be someone stuff that would shock the hell outta me if i found out. Thats very possible but if they were homosexual and it was something that was serious to them then i would know. Thats just the bond we as brothers share. That may not be the same anywhere else but thats why i hold them in such high esteem because i believe i know them and until something concrete hits me in the face i will continue to believe that.
I'm not confused at all. Right now you are being philosophical and speaking in the literal sense of the Bible. In reality, you probably would not jump on the Christianity tangent if we were talking about the heterosexual sex life of "manly" fraternity brothers.

Sensible people look further than sexual to define manhood. Perhaps most people are not sensible but I am and I can't account for what shortsighted people think and do. Both Barry Bonds and Clay Aiken could be gay for all we know. I see men who I believe are gay based on stereotypical notions of sexuality. However, I always remember that there are plenty more men who resemble none of these stereotypical traits and would be defined as "manly men." I interact with both sides of the gay male spectrum on a regular basis. I would've never known that these "manly gay men" were homosexual unless they had been my colleagues and told me.

I'm sure your brothers wouldn't tell you about their homosexuality, considering your viewpoints on it. They would not want your judgment of them or your assessment of REAL Christianity to cloud the bond that they share with you. Just like I love my linesisters and we have shared a tight bond for 8 years. They also know how I feel about certain things and they know there are issues for which I'm unwavering and stubborn. If they did not divulge certain information to me, I would completely understand why and wouldn't blame them. Organizational ties don't always go as far as we would like to believe they do in a philosophical and utopian sense.
