I am not a proponent for homosexuality but I get annoyed when people conveniently turn to Christian principles and the Bible when it fits their agenda. If we were talking about the sex life of fraternity brothers and the "fun" associated with being Greek, I doubt people would come in here quoting the notions of sexual cleanliness found in the Bible. It is that selectivity that leads me to question whether REAL Christianity is synonymous with CONVENIENT Christianity.
The people you pledged with might have more skeletons in their closet than you will ever know. I never speak with absolute certainty about anyone. Not my linesisters or my family members. While I know these people, I don't follow them around 24/7 and I don't have access to their thoughts.
Real manly man? What on earth does that have to do with one's sexuality? Does being a heterosexual make you a manly man? Please tell me that your manhood goes deeper than that. I don't know you, but I can guarantee that there are gay men out there who are much more "manly" and masculine than you are. That doesn't mean they are faking anything. It means that who they are as men is distinct from who they are attracted to.

You bring up the point of chrisitanity being convienient when it fits the agenda well let me clear up the confusion you seem to be experiencing. Christianity doesnt just fit my agenda when it comes to this topic. ALL that is sin is sin. Whether a person chooses to ignore it or not is on them.
I added manly to my statement because i didnt like the way it read the first time because it made it seem like i was saying that gay men arent men and i'm not saying that at all. HOWEVER i will say that manhood does extend further than your sexual preference but how many people truly look that far?? Its easy to be philosophical on a forum and play the role as if you look beyond the fact that someone is gay or not but at the end of the day you are just like the rest. If someone asked you who was more manly Barry Bonds or Clay aiken you would agree that Barry is the more manly. You make a valid point but i doubt even you go that far as to hold up to the statement.
Getting back to the skeletons... your right i dont follow them around 24/7 and there very well may be someone stuff that would shock the hell outta me if i found out. Thats very possible but if they were homosexual and it was something that was serious to them then i would know. Thats just the bond we as brothers share. That may not be the same anywhere else but thats why i hold them in such high esteem because i believe i know them and until something concrete hits me in the face i will continue to believe that.
