He’s the male face of Versace, and he met Halle when she became the female face of Versace. Halle doesn’t have much luck with men, and sources say she better watch out with this one. If she thought she had problems with ex-hubby Eric Benet and his cheating, she better get ready for more heartache. Aubry has been described as a ladies man who gets around. Friends say he wants to be famous and he’s just using Halle to get there. Halle appears quite smitten with her new man. Michael Ealy who? He was the last man she dated, but they couldn’t work it out. Aubry is downplaying the reports that he is a player. He says these stories are not true. He claims he is being harassed by a female stalker, and she is spreading stories about him. Aubry says he’s so into Halle, he can’t even look at another woman.


Prince is ready to hit the road this year. He is going on tour. His new CD, 31-21, arrives in stores next month, and he’s got a new band. He also has a new discovery. A hot female singer named Tamar. She’ll be traveling with him, and she will be featured on his new album.


Dave Chappelle speaks, and he says he may go back to the Comedy Central Network. Under special circumstances, the controversial comic say he may return to the network that made him a star. Chappelle opened up to Oprah last week about why he decided to walk away from a $50 million deal with the network. He says he’s not crazy, and he wasn’t doing drugs. He admits stress caused him to walk away. He says too many people were trying to control him and the show. He says it’s about being true to yourself. He wants to be able to help those less fortunate. If he returns, he intends to do just that. Chappelle’s new movie, Block Party with Jill Scott, Common and The Fugees, opens in theatres March 3rd.


The 20th Annual Soul Train Awards air March 11th in syndication. Vivica A. Fox and Tyrese will be hosting. R Kelly is leading the nomination with 4, and he’s getting a special songwriters’ award from Stevie Wonder. Jamie Foxx is getting the Quincy Jones Award for Outstanding Career Achievement. John Legend is getting the Entertainer of the Year Award.


Now speaking of R Kelly, he’s coming to town with a live band and new nickname. Mr. Showbiz is bringing his Light It Up Tour to the Tower Theatre on April 8th and the House of Blues in Atlantic City on April 9th.

The Sanaa Lathan comedy Something New didn’t generate much interest at the box office. On its opening weekend, it only took in $5 million. I hope the poor box office doesn’t hurt her future chances on the big screen.


Kirk Franklin is bringing his Hero Tour to Philly. Mary Mary will be his special guests. The show is Easter Sunday, April 16th at The Academy of Music.


Gerald Levert is coming to Trenton. He’s starring in the stage production Casino. The show is March 10th at The War Memorial Patriots’ Theatre in Trenton, New Jersey.


Kwame Jackson of Apprentice fame made a fool out of himself at a department store. Jackson was spotted at a Bloomingdale’s trying to return a bag of dirty clothes. The clothes had no tags or receipts. Some of the items were at least three years old. Jackson was trying to get a refund and store credit. Needless to say they told him no.
