1) Dancing/marching/doing semi-gymnastics while twirling a baton & not catching your hair on fire takes a LOT of energy, and a LOT of practice. Like 2-3 hours a day. Also, wearing a costume that was somewhat like a swimming suit only covered in sequins was very good incentive to keep in shape!
2) Loved my daddy, may he rest in peace, but he was a prude about pictures of
his daughter in a bathing suit! I'm not going to post my high school stats on the internet!
