If you really want to play the "the steelers were a wildcard" team stuff then go ahead.
Sure the Steelers were a wildcard team, but EVERYONE knew they were the better team than Seattle. Seattle had a better record because they played in the NFC Worst, beat up on other weak NFC teams while Pittsburgh had arguably one of the toughest schedules in the NFL.
No one ever really looked at Pittsburgh as a 6th seed, while no one realy thought of Seattle as a #1 seed.
