Imsohappy and all,

From an E-mail from the Delta Tau Delta Central Office...

Additional content on the 48 Hours broadcast:

In addition to the post above, there will also be:

Date With Death:
Scientists know it as gamma hydroxibutyrate or GHB, three letters that spell trouble for college co-eds. Esther Duvon, A junior at The University of California in San Diego, says she lost her best friend because of the drug and calls it "...the perfect rape weapon."

Sound the alarm:
It may be one of the best kept secrets on college campuses. Almost 2,000 campus fires, like the one that claimed lives at Seaton Hall University in New Jersey, occur each year. Survivors Ken Simmons and Jennifer Revegno, who thought their only college worries would be over grades, describe the horror of the blaze.

According to experts, sprinklers are the best way to avoid fire deaths. However, 48 hours reports that there are national regulations requiring these safety devices on campus.

Finally:
Vanished:
Can parents count on a university to keep a watchful eye on their children? In 1997, Bryan Niesnfeld disappeared from Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. His parents say the school deleyed informing them that he was missing. His partial remains later washed ashore near the university.

The Nisenfelds believe the college did not act promptly and are suing the school. However, officials say they have a responsibility to preserve the privacy of their students and that it is difficult to determine whether a student has gone missing.
