Ignoring people who stir up trouble on GreekChat isn't exactly one of the job requirements as a moderator, deja. You're pretty new to GC, and I don't think you were around when SH80 started trouble in the past, causing GCers to request that she be banned from the board. Perhaps you should take into account that you may not know the whole story before you give the mods advice on how to handle troublesome people on GC.
Furthermore, since SH80er/curiouss started the thread by asking the mods a direct question, then I don't see any reason why it should be ignored. If we had not answered the question, then we'd have probably been accused of being unresponsive as moderators. Now that we have, we're being accused of bashing "another human's basic right to say what she wants." It's just a no-win situation with some people. Oh well!
