For the benefit of all who might read - yes of course a sister can hold two positions. Smaller chapters do this all the time. The only thing is that it is not recommended that Archon or Vice-archon be MAL as well for obvious conflict of interests for the Archon and the fact that the VA is an ex-officio on Judicial Board.
If any of you find yourself in a similar position, please contact your CKA and RCD/RD immediately. They need to know that the Archon has resigned. Remember that you still have the rest of your chapter supporting each other; the crisis won't last too long - just breathe!
