i sat in on a talk led by a Black gay man and a Black lesbian. both emphatically said that it wouldn't be a good thing to pursue a relationship w/someone who has walked on the "other side". that was all i needed to know. competing w/a guy over his feelings w/another woman is hard enough. i will not compete w/a man and his homosexual leanings.
