April 1: Hurricane Jesse (Cat. 1) hits New Orleans
Heard the news today that Jesse and Al (probably both Gorie and Sharpie) are planning an April 1 march in NO to "restore the right to return." Am reserving five Greyhounds now for marchers from local housing projects.
And for some reason, Jesse and Al are upset that "evacuees" who have never voted in NO have to actually go to NO to vote. Surely the march will devote a block or two (hopefully on the down the hill side) to the right to vote absentee for all peeps who swear an oath that they want to vote.
I hope this is not an April Fools joke.
