I agree with that sentiment. Since businesses in the GNO area have come back, WE ALL realize how valuable those less fortunate (poor) Af Ams were to the city. They had jobs that kept the area going. Who would have thought that Burger King and McDonald's (just to name 2 businesses) would offer $6500 signing bonuses and paying at least $8/hour (for one year of service)?
I don't know what they are going to do for Mardi Gras. It's going to be madness....
