That's ridiculous!! For me, that was one of the most fun parts of my new member period! I hate hazing and all, but these rules are getting insane. We can't require anything of our new members, all we can do is "strongly encourage" it. We had nationals watch us the one year during the new member period, and the new member mom really couldn't do anything...and the girls in that pledge class thought it sucked. They were disappointed on all the stuff they missed out on because nationals claimed it was "hazing."
