I was watching TV last week and one nite there was nothing on, so I was watching "Wings." That show from the 90's (where they all hung out at the airport) and they made a reference to a HS Sorority. Specifically, one of the cast members had been acused of doing something really stupid in HS and she jiustified it by saying, "oh the things you'll do to get into a High School sororoity." Before that I had never heard of a HS sorority or fraternity.
