If a home wasn't built on a good foundation, it was faulty from the start and there's nothing to wreck. I don't think they were truthful from the beginning. Jen may want kids albeit 5 years from now, while Brad wanted them 5 seconds ago. They still aren't on the same level. Unlike compromising on keeping the toilet seat down; compromising on kids, a life-long and life-altering event, isn't that easy. So the marriage was going end.

If the roles were reversed, I doubt there'd be this backlash.
