Sweetie, I feel you're pain, because my chapter, Delta Gamma, was closed in May as well. But with that being said, unfortunately (and I don't say this to be mean) don't expect SDSU to be recolonized (if they do recolonize) anytime soon.
As of right now (being I'm not an IO or on Grand Counil or in EO), DG is the only chapter I know of that is definately going to be recolonized (I'm sure there might be others that they are thinking about but like I said I don't know them). And as for DG, we won't start doing anything until like 2008 (when I say that I'm talking "rushing" girls, because we are already doing stuff to get funds together to get the house looking good) and we will be officially back in 2009 (I believe for formal recruitment that fall).
Recolonization takes time and closed chapters really need to be "away" from the campus for a period of time. Whether it is to let "rumors" die down or let the stigma of being a struggling chapter die away.
Plus, someone please tell me if I'm wrong on this, with recolonization the campus has to be open for colonization in the first place. Then I'm pretty sure it's like any other colonization procedure, we have to present and the campus has to select usfor recolonization.
