While this may still be pretty much a "Tiny Town" event by the standards of large metropolitan areas, the story is of some interest
just because of what it may reveal about the importance attached to debutante traditions -- and sororities -- in parts of Texas.

I could have missed the mention of a sorority or two; if I did, I apologize.
TCU had a lot of mention too.......

And it appears one woman was related to a guy who escorted a different woman.
