Shame
That is a shame that after so so years ago we are still facing this type of mess. I as a multiracial female gets the worst of it. Through appearance I'm 100% Black through bloodlines-I'm a melting pot representing my home turf of the USA and my ancestrial turf of the Republic of Colombia.
One of my coworkers is mixed with Black (dad) and White (mom). Someone responded that she was racial because of a mistake she made in helping a black couple before a white one. Go figure! She appearance appears to be brown skinned with a good grade of hair. She stated to them her mother was white so how could she possibly be racial towards white people, interesting question huh?
But anyway I was fired from a job because I was the first and have been the only black female to work in that corporation. I was moving up too fast and so they decided a budget change would dock my pay and that would leave grounds of firing me. I left the job, they hired a black male in my place. People say it is proven you can't hate on just male or female but the whole race. My question is then why is there this thing called sexism. I could believe men of one race are the fruit to the earth and the women of that same race are the dirt of it. Anyone else see my point here? Well anyway just had to get that off my chest, LOL.
