My birthstone is aquamarine, and I got my college ring with a starburst design under the aquamarine, and then my letters in gold over (under?) the stone. I love it because with the lighter stone, it looks like there's nothing engraved until you look closely. I think it was Jostens. I will say my stone fell out the first time at a Halloween service event I was doing with my chapter. Jostens? was great about getting it replaced, including the letters, very quickly.
